Job Description: Operations Manager

Ecommerce operations managers are responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of an ecommerce business. They commonly manage a team of individuals who work on different aspects of the business, such as marketing, shipping (new orders & returns), customer service, etc.

Ecommerce operations managers must be able to juggle many tasks at once while still maintaining focus on the big picture. They may need to coordinate with multiple departments within their company to ensure that all elements of the business are working together

We are looking for an experienced Operations Manager to join our young startup, which is an ecommerce platform serving all over India and abroad. The ideal candidate will have experience in accounting and reporting to handle the balance sheet and other accounts of the company.

Responsibilities:- Responsible for online business. Manage Processing, dispatch, shipment, Returns, Inventory management, promotion plan to increase sales & Revenue. Maximize online revenue by implementing commercial sales opportunities.

1. Oversee and manage day-to-day operations of the company
2. Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to improve efficiency and productivity
3. Work with senior management to develop and implement business strategies
4. Identify and implement opportunities to improve operational performance and reduce costs
5. Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing and customer service, to ensure a seamless customer experience
6. Manage and motivate a team of operations staff
7. Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to senior management
8. Identify and manage risks that may affect the company’s operations
9. Handle and manage the company’s accounting and financial reporting, including the balance sheet and other accounts
10. Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations management, with a focus on accounting and financial reporting
• Strong leadership and management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience with implementing operational policies and procedures
• Knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements for ecommerce businesses
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software
